Day 1: From Errachidia to Merzouga Desert

When you arrive, a member of our team will greet you at the Errachidia airport. The tour begins with the palm trees of the Natural Reserve of Aoufous, a lush sight amidst the historic Kasbahs in Morocco’s Sahara desert. When you get to Erfoud, you can learn about its international date palm fair and exquisite handicrafts created using local fossils. Merzouga Desert is right around the corner. Following a restorative dinner, this is where you will spend your first night at the local Kasbah.

Day 2: Sahara Desert Adventure Tour

Your personalized Sahara desert excursion begins when you hop into your private 4×4 vehicle and head out of the Erg Chebbi surroundings, specifically from the villages of Hassi Labied and Khamlia. In Khamlia, you can sip a cup of whiskey Berber while listening to traditional Gnawa music, while in Hassi Labied; the irrigation system is a very strange sight. Proceed to Dayet Srji Lake, where unique springtime fauna, like pink flamingos, can be seen. Following lunch, you will be surprised by a visit to a nomadic family who live with their herd beneath a Berber tent during your meticulously organized Morocco desert tour. Suck back the tales of their everyday lives and enjoy a nice cup of tea. You will then make your way back to your private camp slowly after seeing the Black Desert’s volcanic rocks. To explore Erg Chebbi’s dunes before dusk falls, bring your trusty camel. After a revitalizing shower and a sumptuous meal in the middle of the Saharan sands, return to the Berber luxury camp and take a stargazing break, or join our Berber team for songs and dancing around the fire. In your opulent private tent, unwind after a long day with a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3: Sahara Desert trip to Rissani – End of the Tour

When your trip to the Sahara Desert ends, get up early to witness the sun rising behind the dunes. Visit Rissani, the ancient Sijilmasa, where the current Alaouite ruling dynasty was born, following a sumptuous breakfast. Explore the Mausoleum and the surrounding fortified villages, known as Ksours. Enjoy a unique lunch surprise—taste the well-known 44-spice pizza while visiting a Twareg family’s house. We will take you anywhere you would like to go after lunch. You will be driven back to Ouarzazate, Marrakech, Errachidia, or Fez by your itinerary.
