Day 1: Errachidia-Ziz Valley-Erfoud-Merzouga

We will collect you from your hotel in Errachidia or the Moulay Ali Cherif Airport in Errachidia for your two-day desert tour, after which we will travel through the Ziz Valley. We will pause for amazing photos from a panoramic viewpoint. Then proceed via Erfoud, the fossil capital, to the Erg Chebbi dunes. When we arrive in Merzouga, a knowledgeable camel man and camels will be waiting to transport us across the magnificent dunes of Merzouga. The ride will take about 30 minutes to get to the camp. Spend the evening beneath the stars with the locals.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga Desert

The second day of this desert tour from Errachidia to Merzouga will begin with a sumptuous breakfast in your desert camp, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga town. Following that, we begin our day of exploration in the Merzouga desert, traversing the terrain in a 4×4 vehicle. Before traveling to the village of dark-skinned individuals who were formerly slaves from Sudan, we will have the chance to visit a nomadic family near the borders between Algeria and Morocco, where we can take in their way of life and listen to Gnawa music. We will depart for Errachidia in the evening and drop you off at the airport or hotel.
