DAY 1: AGADIR – TAROUDANT – AGDZ

This private tour from Agadir starts with check-in at the hotel and then travels to Taroudant, nicknamed ‘little Marrakech’. The town is famous for its massive ramparts and small medina. We continue to Agdz where we will stay at the hotel with dinner.

DAY 2: AGDZ – NKOB – MERZUGA DESERT

Today we head into the Merzouga desert, passing Berber villages such as Ncob and Jorf. In the afternoon we will reach the town of Merzouga, from where we will embark on an hour-long camel ride across the dunes of the Sahara. We will watch the sunset from the top of the dune. After dinner, spend the night in a nomadic tent.

DAY 3: MERZUGA DESERT – TODRA – DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE

Today we will get up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara desert. After breakfast, we will continue to the gorges of Erfoud and Todra (gorges 300m high). Here we will hike and after lunch, we will continue on the 1000 Kasbah route. We will explore the Dades Valley and the Rose Valley. We will then visit the Skoura palm grove and drive to Ouarzazate where we will stay at the hotel and have dinner.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – AYT BEN HADDU – MARRAKECH (OR AGADIR)

Today we will travel to the High Atlas Mountains and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which has been used in films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
