Tours From Rabat
Rabat is the administrative capital of Morocco. One of the country’s four imperial cities, it is located on the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Wadi Bou Regreg, opposite the city of Sale.
4-day desert trip from Rabat to the Merzouga desert
Day 1: Rabat
Upon arrival at Rabat airport, our team will pick you up and drive you to the hotel. We will discover the must-see of Rabat such as the Hassan Tower if you arrive earlier. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga
Departure from the accommodation at 8 am. On the way from Rabat to Meknes, we will visit the main gate of the Medina and proceed to the desert of Merzouga, passing Azrou and the valley of Ziz until we arrive in Erfoud, before continuing to the village of Merzouga, where we will stay overnight in a local hotel and have dinner.
Day 3: Merzouga
After breakfast, explore the desert landscape, view the lake in the dunes, have lunch and listen to the music of the Gnawa people. In the afternoon, ride a camel and explore the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Admire the sunset over the dunes and spend a lovely evening by the fire.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Azrou – Meknes – Rabat
After the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes, we have breakfast and take a camel ride to Merzouga, then to Rissani to visit the Mausoleum of Molay Ali Cherief Alaoui. From there we return to Rabat, stop for lunch in Zayda and continue to Rabat via Meknes, arriving at the end of the day at your accommodation.
